Salicylaldehyde nitrile synthesis process, which process comprises the following steps: (1) To a turbulent fluidized bed reactor consisting of chlorotoluene was added, ammonia, oxygen and water vapor, stir, then add V-Cr- O and the mixture of particles V-P-O based thin as a catalyst, heating the reaction; after (2) reaction of o-chlorobenzonitrile to give the crude product, then washed with water to give pure product after distillation of o-chlorobenzonitrile; (3 ) a solution of o-chlorobenzonitrile pure product obtained in step 2 was added to a solution of an alkali metal alkoxide, controlling the reaction temperature, the reaction under normal pressure, after the completion of the reaction, the solvent recovered by distillation under reduced pressure, hydrochloric acid was added dropwise within the system was again acidification, to obtain a solid salicylic nitrile. Compared with the prior art, the present invention avoids the use of phosgene or phosphorus-containing compounds, not only ensure the safety of operating personnel, and reduce pollution, and the use of free turbulent fluidized bed reactor, helps improve production capacity of the apparatus and yield of o-chlorobenzonitrile.
