The investigation on post-discharge healthy status of 125I seed inplantation rectal cancer patients

Objective To evaluate the health status of rectal cancer 125I seed inplantation for patients in post-discharge.Methods Rectal cancer 125I seed inplantation in our division dischrge from February 2000to January 2006.Apply the 36 item short-from health survey to give a mark.Mark an investigation with return visit of inpatient,enter-household and consultation in outpatient department.Results There was statistically difference between the two groups regarding physical condition in the index consists of 36 item and eight dimensionality.The health status of 125I seed inplantation for patients are significantly higher than that of the control groups.Conclusion The health status was an important index which evaluate the effect of the surgery of tumor patients.
