Clinical evaluation of PGLA film for treatment of posttraumatic knee joint dysfunction caused by femoral fracture

Objective:To evaluate the clinical value of PGLA film for quadriceps angioplasty in the treatment of post-traumatic knee dysfunction (PKJD) caused by femoral fractures.Methods:Six cases of PKJD caused by femoral fractures were treated with quadriceps angioplasty combined to PGLA film,and the clinical effects were evaluated.Results:All patients were followed up 1 year,4 cases and 1 case were recovered nearly normal in after 12 weeks and 6 months separately,and average flexion angle was close to 109.7 °,the efficient was 83.33%.Conclusion:There are satisfied results on Quadriceps angioplasty combined with PGLA film in the treatment of PKJD,due to the limited clinical application cases,clinical efficacy should be observed further.
