The laser in situ keratomileusis with flap made by Zeimer Femto LDV

2012
Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK)with flap made by Zeimer Femto LDV.Methods There were 198 cases(396 eyes) envolved. The patients were divided into 2 groups:120 patients (240 eyes) whose LASIK flaps were made with Zeimer Femto LDV femtosecond laser in group Ⅰ,and 78 patients(156 eyes) whose flaps were created with Moria M2 90 μm microkeratone in group Ⅱ.Uncorrected visual acuity, corrected visual acuity, refractive diopter, high order aberrations were checked and recorded preoperatively, and 1 day,1 month and 6 months postoperatively. Results All flaps were made very well in the 2 groups. The uncorrected visual acuity and corrected visual acuity had no significant difference between the 2 groups at all time points measured. At the 1st month and sixth month postoperative timepoint, the residual astigmatism was significantly lower in group Ⅰ than that in group Ⅱ,but there was no significant sphere differene between the 2 groups.Sixth month postoperatively, the high order aberrations, spherical aberration and coma aberration increased in the 2 groups, but the high order aberration and coma aberration were significantly lower in group Ⅰ than that in group Ⅱ.Conclusion It is safe and efficacious to correct myopia and astigmatism with LASIK flap made by Zeimer Femto LDV,with less high order aberration and less coma aberration. It might improve postoperative visual quality.
