Depression Among College Students: Trends in Prevalence and Treatment Seeking

2006
In a study of 182 undergraduates, a substantial proportion of the students in this sample reported significant symptoms of depression, yet only a minute number of them had ever sought treatment for their ailments. The implications and limitations are reviewed, as are the suggestions for future research.
