Facile Transformation of a Native Polystyrene (PS) Film into a Stable Superhydrophobic Surface via Sol-Gel Process

A facile and inexpensive approach to fabricating stable superhydrophobic PS/nanosilica hybrid films via the sol–gel process. The prepared film possesses a hierarchical structure consisting of macrocavities and nanotextures.
