Accessory hepatic lobe with hemorrhagic necrosis: A mimic of malignant hepatic tumor at CT and MRI

Abstract Accessory hepatic lobe is a rare anomaly. We report a case of accessory hepatic lobe that caused abdominal pain and mimicked malignant hepatic tumor at CT and MRI. This article describes the radiological and clinicopathological features of the accessory hepatic lobe with a review of the literature. The object of this report is to draw attention to this rare entity since it can cause diagnostic confusion.
