CNES Experiments on MEDET: Lessons Learned

The Material Exposure and Degradation ExperimenT MEDET has been successfully launched and retrieved with EuTEF from the Columbus External Payload Facility of the ISS (18 months, from February 2008 to September 2009). All experiments have been providing data as expected during the operations phase. MEDET is an active experiment that was exposed to the Low Earth orbit (LEO) environment.
