Evaluation of plasma osteopontin as early detection and prognostic marker in malignant pleural mesothelioma

11074 Background: Osteopontin (OPN) has been characterized as an early detection marker in serum of patients with mesothelioma (MM). Existing assays have specified that OPN should be measured in plasma and not serum.
