Safety of Hyposensitization

1991 
Specific hyposensitization is a well-established therapy for IgE-mediated allergic rhinitis, asthma bronchiale, and insect venom allergies. In 0.1%-1% of therapies, serious side effects have to be treated. Fatalities following hyposensitization are known from the literature. We analyzed these data to find out the most important risk factors.
