Comparative Analysis and Experimental Study on Single-Wrap and Double-Wrap Scroll Compressor

the geometric model and gas force model of single-wrap scroll compressor and double-wrap scroll compressor are established, and the advantages and disadvantages of the two kinds of models in geometric performance and stress are compared and analyzed. The changes of shaft power, displacement, pressure and temperature in the working process of the two models are simulated. The prototype of double-wrap scroll compressor is developed, and the test platform is built for testing. The results show that the performance of the double-wrap scroll compressor is better than that of the single-wrap scroll compressor when the parameters, the scroll plate diameter, base circle radius, tooth height and the area of exhaust hole are the same. The results of simulation and test are close to each other, which verify the correctness of the model and simulation.
