Znaczenie programowania opóźnienia przedsionkowo-komorowego w stymulacji dwujamowej typu DDD

We discuss the importance of programmed AV delay in DDD pacing. The AV delay optimization significantly influences hemodynamical status of paced patients, especially in cases of dilated cadiomyopathy, hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy and in hypertensive patients with left ventricular hypertrophy. Moreover programmed AV delay has an impact on other electrophysiological parameters, like QT interval and QT dispersion in ischaemic and/or hypertensive patients.
