Clinical value of three-dimensional reconstruction of multislice spiral CT and digital radiography in diagnosis of rib fracture

2018
Objective To study the clinical value of three-dimensional reconstruction of multislice spiral CT and digital radiography in the diagnosis of rib fracture. Methods Seventy-six cases of rib fracture were selected and were given three-dimensional reconstruction of spiral CT and digital radiography to diagnose the fracture. The incidence of fracture of the patients was observed, and the rate of diagnosis, rate of missed diagnosis and time situation of the two methods were observed. Results The clinical and imaging findings of 76 patients with a total of 161 rib fractures, including single fracture (30.43%) was significantly less than the multiple fractures (69.57%), the number of fracture cases in fourth to 10 ribs was the most (80.75%), the most prone position of fracture was the axillary segment (52.80%); the diagnostic rate of digital radiography (81.99%) was significantly lower than that of multi-slice spiral CT (95.65%), P<0.05; the rate of missed diagnosis in digital radiography (18.01%) was significantly higher than that of multi-slice spiral CT (4.35%), P<0.05; the digital radiography was significantly longer than the multi-slice spiral CT three-dimensional reconstruction (P<0.05). Conclusions Multi slice spiral CT three-dimensional reconstruction of rib fracture patients can show the fracture in many angles, clearly, stereoscopic and intuitively, and improve the diagnosis rate of the fracture. The clinical value of the diagnosis of the occult rib fracture is significantly better than that of digital radiography. It is worthy of clinical application.
