Abstract 2501: Involvement of Notch signaling pathway in a panel of human cancer cell lines

2018
Background. Notch pathway has been involved in cell fate determination, cell differentiation, cell proliferation, apoptosis, angiogenesis and drug resistance, as well as epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT). Our team has demonstrated the involvement of the PlGF/VEGFR1/Notch4 axis in the angiogenesis of HCC, but what about the role of Notch in cancer cells? In this study, we will focus on Notch1 and Notch4 since they have been extensively described in tumor angiogenesis. The aim of this work is to characterize the expression and the role of basal Notch1 and Notch4 activation in a panel of human cancer cell lines. Materials and Methods. We characterized a panel of 8 pancreatic, 5 cholangiocarcinoma (CK), 5 colorectal, 8 head and neck (HN 2018 Apr 14-18; Chicago, IL.
