Evaluación de la calidad de vida en pacientes sometidas a cirugía mínimamente invasiva en el servicio de ginecología oncológica en el Instituto Nacional de Cancerología

Problem: The evaluation of the quality of life (QoL) allows the person to establish the general perception about the health and disease processes, assimilate the treatments offered and propose a global vision of health. General objective: To measure the QoL of patients undergoing minimally invasive surgery in the gynecology oncology service of the National Cancer Institute Materials and methods: Descriptive cohort study applying the FACT-G questionnaire to all patients with oncological pathology, coming from the gynecological oncology service, who are going to undergo minimally invasive surgery in 3 moments; before surgery and during its postoperative period at 10 and 30 days in order to establish the relationship between age, type of cancer, adjuvant treatment, sociodemographic variables, associated comorbidities, body mass index (BMI), surgical complications, time necessary for recovery and incorporation to normal life and also the degree of satisfaction with respect to QoL scores
