Viscosity properties of low molecular weight polymer

The technology of flooding oil-extraction,which is an important method of enhanced oil recovery in Daqing Oilfield,has already been widely applied to industrialization and achieved good flooding effects.The influence of the main controlling factors,such as concentration,temperature,clay,montmorillonite,salt and so on,the viscosity of 8 millions low molecular weight polymer solution has been done because the tertiary-main layers of Daqing Oilfield stand in a very low permeability,the polymer of tens of millions of molecular weight are not applicable and the application effect of 4 millions molecular weight polyacrylamide is not good.The experimental results indicate that the concentration of low molecular weight polymer solution is higher,the viscosity is bigger.The solution viscosity will be decline because of the existence of temperature,clay,montmorillonite,calcium magnesium cations and salt.
