SIR 2004 film panel case: Systemic artery aneurysms in Kawasaki disease

The patient is a 29-year-old man who presented with bilateral pulsatile masses in the medial aspect of both arms. Both hands were cool with poor radial pulses. The patient’s blood cell counts, electrolyte levels, and liver function tests were normal. Some years before admission, he had episodes of fever and adenopathy. Angiograms of both upper extremities (Figs 1,2) were obtained via femoral catheterization.
