Modal Properties of the Heald Frame of a Weaving Loom

This paper examines the problematic of determining the natural frequencies of the heald frame of a weaving loom. When calculating these frequencies, the effect is considered of the stiffness of the connection of the cross beam and side support. In solving the problematic, we performed a sensitivity analysis on the effect of the stiffness of the connection and the change of individual structural parameters on the observed values of the natural frequencies. The calculated values were verified by measuring on the actual components.
