The attitude of modern women towards the prevention of cervical carcinoma

2019
: Most of the participants in our study would spend up to twenty leva (BGN) per year for cervical cancer prevention. The highest percentage of women who believe that prophylaxis should be free of charge after having health insurance is in the group of Bulgarians. Most of the respondents are ready to spend up to one day per year on prevention of cervical cancer prevention, followed by women who believe that only a few hours a year are enough. For the age group up to 25 years the highest percentage of respondents considered that they would not have to spend any time to prevent cervical cancer. In the group of the lowest educated women, compared to the other groups, there are predominantly those who think they do not have to take any time to prevent or have no opinion on the issue. The same decreases significantly in educated women with secondary and tertiary education.
