IMPORTANCE OF PRENATA DIAGNOSIS OF CONGENITAL TOXOPLASMOSIS: A CASE REPORT

Ozet Ulkemizde konjenital toksoplazmozis seroprevelansi yuksektir. Burada, prenatal hidrosefali tanisi alan ve postnatal 23. gunde hastanemize ventrikuloperitoneal sant enfeksiyonu ile yatirilan ve izleminde konjenital toksoplazmozis tanisi alan bir olgu sunulmaktadir. Olguyu sunmaktaki amacimiz, antenatal ve postnatal tanili hidrosefali olgularinda ayirici tanida diger hidrosefali yapan nedenler kadar konjenital toksoplazmozisin de dusunulmesini vurgulamaktir. Here, we present a case who had prenatal diagnosis of hydrocephalus, admitted to our hospital for ventriculoperitoneal shunt infection on postnatal 23th day got diagnosis of congenital toxoplasmosis. Our aim for presenting this case is to emphasize on congenital toxoplasmosis in differential diagnosis of etiology of the antenatal and postnatal hydrocephalus.
