Pseudophakic Malignant Glaucoma

In two cases with long-standing open-angle glaucoma, malignant glaucoma developed after anuncomplicated extracapsular cataract extraction with implantation of a posterior chamber intraocular lens. Only a vitrectomy could restore the anterior chamber. The possible pathogenesis of this unusual complication is discussed.
