Ahalyses on Pathkology,Clinical Symptomatology and MRI Findings of Adrenoleukodystrephy

Objective To study the pathology,clinical symptomatology and MRI findings of adrenoleukodystrophy.Methods 7 patients with adrenoleukodystrophy proved by clinic were retrospectively analyzed.Results All cases showed a bilateral symmetric changes in the posterior periventrieular white matter,MRI signals were longish T_1 on T_1WI and hyperintensity on FLAIR,which appears as butterfly with splenium of corpus callosum infiltration.Conclusion MRI manifestations of adrenoleukodystropby have specific features so that MRI can accurately reveal the pathological changes and progression of the Clinic.
