Clear cell carcinoma of the palate

2001
Abstract Abstract. A case of minor salivary gland clear cell adenocarcinoma of the palate with metastasis to the lungs in a 53-year-old female is presented. Histologically, the cells were characterized by glycogen rich clear cells arranged in solid nests, trabeculac, surrounded by hyalinized fibrous stroma. We believe this represents an aggressive form of this type of tumor.
