Study on preventive nursing care under the guidance of risk adjustment model of emergency patients

2019
Objective To analyze the risk factors of infection and establish a risk adjustment model for preventive care of emergency infection. Methods The data of 422 patients were selected in this hospital from October 2016 to October 2017, and 20 risk factors of infection were investigated by single factor analysis. The risk adjusted model was established by stepwise Logistic regression model, and nursing instruction was conducted. Results Severity of disease, invasive operation were risk factors of emergency patients, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Health status, preinfection hormone use and prophylactic antibiotic use were protective factors for infection in emergency patients, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The goodness of fit of risk adjustment model was 0.82, and the goodness of fit of expected infection rate and actual infection rate was 0.76. Conclusions The establishment of a risk adjustment model can be standardized for the prevention of infection in emergency patients, and it is beneficial to improve the quality of service for emergency infection prevention and care.
