2014
With the popularity and the development of internet, the public will express their opinions, emotions and attitudes more conveniently and frequently through the network after an emergency event, which makes the generation of network public opinion for emergencies become normal and complex. The formation and evolution of network public opinion is undergoing four major processes, that is,triggering, congregating, heatedly debating and subliming, which all together appear with a certain regularity. Among them, mutation rule describes the features of the non- continuousness and sudden changes in public opinions. The rule of quickly focusing reflects the formation of focal point and the amplification mechanism of the object events. Resonance law embodies the interaction process between the reality and virtuality, public opinions and issues and emotions. Polarization law emphasizes the behavior of an individual following the public's opinions, which caused by the group polarization mode.
