Effects of drugs on gastric secretion and gastro-portal circulation

1973
The effect of SBB is concluded as a result of congestion of visceral blood flow, which was caused by decrease of AP and of gastrointestinal movement. Pit caused the decrease of inflow into the stomach by vasoconstriction. NAD reaction was weak during infusion of H, and was stronger during infusion of G. Therefore, we support Kaul’s view that G would react as α and Β blocker. It is considered that the DHC reaction under H infusion was more weaker because of competition between the adrenergic inhibitory secretion caused by DHC and the cholinergic reaction caused by H. Correlationship of MBF and SVR was not observed under the basal condition, however, when H, G and SBB were loaded, relationship became significant. Accordingly, it is considered that MBF plays an important role in gastric secretion.
