KHARKIV SCHOOL OF PSYCHOLOGY: 80 YEARS OF MEMORY PSYCHOLOGY RESEARCH

The paper is a review and analysis of the main studies in psychology of memory made at Kharkiv School of Psychology over the last 80 years since the moment of its foundation in early 30 th of the 20 th century. It presents the results of theoretical and ex-perimental research by P.I. Zinchenko, V.Ya. Lyaudis, G.K. Sereda, S.P. Bocharova, A.N. Laktionov, E.F. Ivanova, T.B. Khomulenko et al. These studies conducted based on activity and systemic approaches are a notable contribution to the development of modern psychology of memory. The paper puts a special emphasis on their practical value.
