Common Aspects of the Magnetization Behavior of the Γ4 → Γ24 → Γ2 Phase Transitions in Orthoferrites

The magnetization behavior in the vicinity of the reorientation phase transition was studied experimentally for a number of orthoferrites. The proposed model convincingly describes the experimental data with no fitting parameters.
