Increasing the Noise Immunity of Amino Acids Optical Sensors

2020
In paper the proposition to use liquid crystal (LC) materials with a helical molecular structure as a sensitive medium for increasing the noise immunity of optical sensors is represented. As researched objects we use L-asparagine, Lproline, L-histidine, DL-serine, DL-methionine, DL-valine, DLlysine, and L-glutamic acid as a pure drug or a standard solution of this drug in ultrapure water. As LC mixtures was cholesteric (BL062) and nematic (5CB) liquid crystalline components. The spectral characteristics of with amino acids dopants are carried out. We propose the developed optical signal processing scheme to determine the concentration of amino acids in a LC mixture.
