Clinical pathology analysis of papillary microcarcinoma of thyreoidea

objective To explore the clinical pathology characteristics of papillary microcarcinoma of thyreoid. Methods Clinical and pathological data of 14 patients with primary papillary microcarcinoma of thyreoidea were retrospectively studied and finally diagnosed by rereading. Results 14 cases were included in the analysis in which l3 was female and 1 was male. Their ages ranged from 18 to 76 years, the average age was 48.3 years and peaked age ranged from 40.3 to 53 years. Morphologic characteristics: nidi of cancer were characteristic with nodosity or fabric cicatricle, grayish-white or buffy, their ambits were unclear and the qualities were pachy, the sizes were about 0.2-1.0cm. The cancer cells arrayed in mamillae with frosted-glass caryons, nuclear inclusions, nuclear fissures, fabric stromal reactions or grits. Conclusions Thyreoidea samples discissioed in pages were observed carefully, selected everywhere and were made in microtome sections continuously in order to enhance detection rate and reduce the rate of missed diagnosis. Patients without lymphonodus metastasize were operated with simple pathologic glandula thyreoidea leafages ablate ectomy and had good prognosises.
