Acción antitusígena dd Clorprotixeno

2017
We have studied the action of Chlorprothixene upon the respiratory activity of unanesthetized dogs, with adose of 0,5 mg./Kg. In most cases the ventilation is decreased principally by reducing the frecuency. In all cases the cough was diminished when the (rachea was mechanically stimulated. The mode of action of antitussive effect is discussed.
