OVERVIEW OF MICRO GRID SYSTEMS

This study paper discusses about different types of microgrid, technology adopted with its schematic arrangements and power management schemes. It also deals with various control strategies and protection schemes employed for better operation. A detailed overview of DC microgrid system is discussed, outlining its configurations, and techno economical aspects. Performance evaluation of microgrid carried out through various reliability indices is also presented.
