Effect of transition metal ions on hydrogen peroxide bleaching of recycled pulp

The effect of transition metal ions on hydrogen peroxide bleaching of recycled pulp was studied.The results show that Cu2+,Fe2+and Mn2+ can obviouslydecrease residual H2O2,brightness of peroxide bleached pulps and the bleaching response.
