Alignment of laser diodes on miscut substrates

Semiconductor device comprising: a GaN substrate having a GaN (0001) surface from the direction substantially in the direction of the direction was cleaved; and a laser diode resonator on the GaN substrate, which is parallel to direction is aligned.
