The clinical efficacy of biofeedback therapy in the treatment of pelvic floor achalasia constipation

2018
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of biofeedback therapy (BF) in the treatment of pelvic floor achalasia constipation. Methods 68 cases of pelvic floor achalasia constipation in our hospital from Apr 2016 to Apr 2017 were selected, and were divided into the control group and the study group with the touching ball method, 34 cases in each group. The control group was treated with the seton operation method, while the study group was treated with biofeedback therapy. Observed the defecation symptom score before and after treatment, complication rate, and the total efficiency of the two groups. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups (91.18% vs.85.29%, P>0.05); the complication rate in the study group was lower than that in the control group (0.00% vs.20.59%, P<0.05); the defecation symptom score were improved in both two groups, and the defecation symptom score in the study group was better than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion BF has obvious effect in the treatment of pelvic floor achalasia constipation, which can effectively improve the defecation symptom of patients, improve the contraction and relaxation function of anal muscle and abdominal muscle, is helpful to easy defecation, is good for improving the prognosis. Key words: Pelvic floor achalasia constipation; Biofeedback therapy; Therapeutic effect; Prognosis
