Preparation & Application Status and Development Trend of Ultra-fine Nickel Powders

The structure and morphologies of ultrafine particles are closely relative with their preparation methods.The advantages and disadvantages of carbonylnickel pyrolysis,hydrothermal hydrogen redction,electrolysis,vacuum distillation,mechanical milling,spray pyrolysis and liquid reduction for preparaing ultrafine nickel powders are analysized and comparaed.Application of ultrafine nickel powders in battery materials,maganic materials,cemented alloy,catalitic materials,millitary special materail and multi-layer ceramic capacitor is introduced.It is concluded that trend of ultrafine nickel particles is high puroity,narrow particle size distribution,good dispersion and surface properties.
