Clinical contrastive analysis of laparoscopic radical operation and laparotomy in the treatment of colorectal cancer

2013
Objective To investigate the clinical values and significance of laparoscopic radical operation in the treatment of colorectal cancer. Methods Seventy-two patients with colorectal cancer were randomly divided into observation group(n=36) and treated with laparoscopic radical operation and control group(n=36) and treated with laparotomy.Observations were carried out about the patients'surgery and complications in both groups. Results There was no statistical differences for operation time and number of lymph node dissection of the patients in both groups(P0.05).The intraoperative blood loss, postoperative exhaust time and average stay length of the patients in the observation group were significantly lower and shorter than those of the patients in the control group(P0.05).There was no statistical difference in the complications incidence of the patients in both groups(P0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic radical operation has the advantages of minimal invasion, less blood loss and quick recovery and has the same operative effects as that of laparotomy.
