Hand-held and automated sonomammography: clinical role relative to X-ray mammography

A retrospective analysis of 73 patients who had undergone X-ray mammography (XRM), automated sonomammography (ASM), and hand-held sonomammography (HSM) was performed to evaluate the clinical role of both types of sonomammography (SM) relative to XRM.
