Effects of combined application of organic and chemical fertilizer on plastid pigment and its degrading products in flue-cured tobacco.

2010
Study on effects of combined application of organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer on plastid pigment and its degrading products in flue-cured tobacco was investigated with field experiments. The result showed that, than no organic fertilizer, the contents of chlorophyll and carotenoid among 4 treatments of organic fertilizer were higher and significant at 0.05 level. For chlorophyll content of CK3(100% sesame seed cake fertilizer)and carotenoid content of T2(50%chemical fertilizer and 50% sesame seed cake fertilizer)were the highest among all treatments. But the ratio between carotenoid and chlorophyll,T2 was the highest,CK3 the lowest. The contents of aromatic components of the cartenoids, neophytadiene and the plastid pigment degrading products were raised by varying degrees except for the cutters of T3(25%chemical fertilizer and 75%sesame seed cake fertilizer),and the highest contents of them were T2,T1(75% chemical fertilizer and 25% sesame seed cake fertilizer),T1 respectively in lower leaves, and always T2 among the cutters and upper leaves.Therefor,50% chemical fertilizer and 50% sesame seed cake fertilizer had the greatest effects on plastid pigment and its degrading products in flue-cured tobacco, especially in the lower and topper leaves.
