Diffusivity of Cerebellar Hemispheres Enables Discrimination of Cerebellar or Parkinsonian Multiple System Atrophy from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy–Richardson Syndrome and Parkinson Disease
2013
Evaluation of median mean diffusivity values of large infratentorial regions, particularly the cerebellar hemispheres, yields accurate and highly reproducible diagnostic markers that can be used to completely discriminate patients with the parkinsonian or cerebellar variant of multiple system atrophy from those with progressive supranuclear palsy and Parkinson disease.
