Resultados de um Inquérito sobre o Manuseio do Bloqueio Neuromuscular em Portugal

The results of a survey on neuromuscular management are presented. This survey addressed to Anesthesiologists and Residents was made available on a computer platform (Google Drive). We collected and validated 465 responses that represent about 30% of Anesthesiologists working in Portugal.Participation in this survey makes us confident of the importance of this issue of neuromuscular block management. Contradictions in some responses, suggests that more information and training will be needed in this area. We are convinced that recommendations created within the scientific societies, including the SPA (Portuguese Society of Anesthesiology), may constitute an essential tool to promote a safer practice to our patients.
