The Influence of Sliding Windows Based on MM-6mAPred to Identify DNA N6-Methyladenine

2021
Methylation of DNA N6-methyladenine (6mA) is a type of epigenetic modification that plays an essential role in eukaryotic organisms. It is of great importance to discriminate precisely N6-methyladenine (6mA) in genomes. Based on this, we can recognize its biological functions. As a result, finding a stable method which can identify quickly and precisely is indispensable. In this paper, we have changed the number of sliding windows in the MM-6mAPred, which based on the Markov model. The model identifies 6mA sites through the transition probability between adjacent nucleotides. The results show that the transition probability among adjacent nucleotides is benefit to capture more discriminant sequence information.
