Ultrasensitive detection of chloramphenicol using electrochemical aptamer sensor: A mini review

2020
Abstract Chloramphenicol (CAP) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that is potentially harmful to human health. Among the various techniques employed for CAP detection, electrochemical aptamer (EA) sensor has received widespread attention due to their unique advantages. The construction strategy of EA sensor and the application of nanomaterials have obvious advantages in improving the detection performance of sensors. However, these also pose challenges for its overall stability and preparation repeatability. In this mini-review, recent advances in EA sensor based on various strategies/nanomaterials for CAP detection and elaborate their merits as well as drawbacks were summarized. The purpose is to clarify future research areas for researchers in the field of EA sensor for CAP detection, and further optimize current EA sensor.
