Bose-Einstein correlations in pp and pp interactions at s = 63 GeV

1985
Abstract Bose-Einstein correlations between two equal charge pions were measured in pp and p p collisions at s = 63 GeV. The data were recorded at the CERN-ISR with the split field magnet detector (SFM) using minimum bias triggers. The second-order interference is used to determine the size and the degree of coherence of the pion source in pp and [ovbar|p]p collisions. They are found to be equal within errors.
