THE OKLAHOMA STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH MOBILE MULTIPHASIC SCREENING PROGRAM FOR CHRONIC DISEASE: PART 11

THE history and organization of the Chronic Disease Screening Program at the Oklahoma State Department of Health were described in Part I of this paper.1 In addition, the general descriptive characteristics of the screened population were presented. Of the 26,957 persons screened in 1960-1962, 5,605 or 20.8 per cent were referred to their physicians for further evaluation. Part II will discuss each screening procedure in detail. Results in both papers are based on ten counties screened during 1960-1962.
