The Happy mapping approach
2005
“Happy mapping” is an in vitro genome mapping method for type 1 and 2 markers that offers several advantages over the RH method. However, it is highly dependent on a whole-genome amplification step that till now has been difficult to realize given the very small amount of starting DNA. In this article, advantages and possible future developments are discussed in light of the difficulties inherent in the method.
