Dynamics Research on the Driving Force Moment of the Self-cleaning Twisted Strip with Inlet Contrarotation Enhancement and Engineering Application

The theorem of angular momentum has been described in the paper to research the self-cleaning force moment of the twisted strip with inlet contrarotation bearing and get its calculation formula.Based on this formula,the important results are obtained such as the strip structure design with the aim of enhancing the force moment and the technology application in industry.The inlet contrarotation bearing(Type 2030) can make the self-rotating force moment of twisted strip 2000mm long increased by 235%.The flowing velocity is remarkably reduced to drive the strip.The flowing resistance is only 1.5kPa.The structure is simple and the cost is low.This technology is suitable to be widely used in heat exchangers with flowing velocity about 0.9m/s.The effect is more notable when the heat transfer tube is not too long.
