Design and Implementation of Grid Based Open Decision Support System Supported with Globus Toolkit

The emergence and maturity of Grid technology will bring about a new revolution for the development of Decision Support Systems (DSS). This paper proposed a new kind of DSS--Grid Based Open DSS(GBODSS), which is a good bond of DSS and Grid technology. Firstly, a framework of Grid Based Open DSS is put forward following a brief discuss of the excellent characters of Grid. Then an implement of the framework with the supporting of Globus toolkit is designed.
