Atopic dermatitis and depressive symptoms. Results of the German national AD Registry TREATgermany.

TREATgermany is a multicenter academic registry for the long-term observation of patients with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD). Eligibility criteria, study procedures, and baseline characteristics including previous treatments have already been described (1). AD is associated with psychosocial disorders such as depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation (2-4).
