Mandate to evaluate environmental loads on ships and offshore structures. Such loads are caused by hydrodynamic effects, wind, ice and earthquakes. The mandate inclued the modelling of impact and sloshing loads and of hydroelastic effects for design purposes. Consideration should also be given to the statistical description of forces and to comparisons of theoretical results with measured data at model and full scale
